H&M: Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Normally I'm not too into H&M (Freja looks great in their ads, but their clothes are just too el-cheapo), but I will definitely be checking out their Girl With The Dragon Tattoo-inspired clothing line. I'll be curious about exactly how well this whole goth-rocker-lez-hipster-chic thing will be received by mainstream.

Grenson: DROOL.

These. Are. Beautiful.

Behind the Scenes: Melo's M8 NYC Flight Event

Here's why I was in NYC last week: Melo's M8 NYC Flight Event, in celebration of the Jordan Melo M8 shoe launch, as well as Carmelo Anthony's new home with the New York Knicks. Jordan and Wieden+Kennedy's NYC office made this happen. Blast Radius was also there promoting the Jordan Post-Up app (think Melo graffiti art).

Closets I'd raid: Theophilus London

Smart, dapper, sporty. Fine, call me a hipster.

Zombie Boy gets new skin

WHOAH. Here's a video that lets us see what Zombie Boy (aka Rico Genest) actually looks like without his full-body anatomical tattoos. Pretty crazy, and a great ad for Dermablend, the makeup used in this video to cover up Zombie Boy's tattoos.

Jordan: Love The Game

Jordan's Lockout spot, featuring Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Paul. I got a sneak peek at Nike Basketball's Lockout spot this morning -- while I'll give them props on their upcoming Lebron spot, I'm definitely digging Jordan's ad over Nike Basketball's. Nice, feel-good story.

"I Wish They Made This For Girls"

Some photos from On & Beyond's photos series "I Wish They Made This For Girls". I find myself saying this every single day.

TOMBOY

Gah, really want to see this. The whole Tomboy thing I can totally relate to. Dont think I ever went as far as telling people I was a boy, but I definitely felt like one, like in gradeschool when I played football at recess. Or during summers when I ran around without a shirt on. Or during my 4th grade Health class when I threw a fit when I was forced to map out the anatomy of my gender -- a girl.

Arizona Muse for Jil Sander (Navy campaign)

Ya weird. I like.

Fall in Williamstown

I was so restless when I went to Williams College. All I wanted was out of the small New England preppy scene, probably because it seemed like high school all over again. But I now miss this so much. I miss being in a community full of the brightest and motivated people I've ever been around. There weren't many responsibilities. (Well, besides the inordinate amounts of homework, and endless hours of sports training.) But if you worked hard, you were rewarded. Everyday I was challenged, I busted my ass, and I got something out of it. You didn't have to schmooze, or know the right people in order to climb up some silly political ladder. There weren't dues you had to pay, and there wasn't b*tch work to be done. Instead, we learned and grew in what (I didn't realize until now) was an incredibly supportive and rare environment. Williams is a special place, and I can now say that I miss it.

Think different.

Here's to the Crazy Ones.

Sophnet x Tricker's: YES.

Sophnet teamed up with Tricker's to create these radass ostrich leather wingtip boots (for Sophnet's opening in a corner of upcoming Hankyu Men's Tokyo department store).
