"Humdrum Town" - Theophilus London

According to my music library, this was my most-played song of 2010, and supposedly of all time (though I hesitate to believe that, considering I didn't have iTunes during my Stones & Aerosmith-crazed days). However, given where I've lived throughout my life, not surprised that this is at the top of my personal playlist.

Children's Table

Video I made for my college gang -- some of the most fun, & most quality people I know. I miss them loads.

Peaches

Peaches: def one of my favorites. Freaky, button-pushing, completely inappropriate electroclash superwoman. Kindof reminds me of a grittier, low-brow Gaga. When I saw her in Boston last year, she ended the show by pulling a KISS: spitting fake blood all over the fans. She stained my clothes. It was a bit gross, but since it was Peaches, I don't really mind.

Mick Rock - Rock Photographer

Sir Peter Paul Rubens - Sketches

Definitely one of my very favorite artists, in part because I love portraiture (mostly of people and animals -- anything with a pulse). And I think it's also the athlete in me -- I'm drawn to the energy, dynamic movement, and strength that Ruben depicts in his subjects.

Coco Sumner

Coco Sumner: lead-singer of broody-pop group I Blame Coco, and daughter of Sting.
No surprise that I'm intrigued - I'm a sucker for catchy tunes, and obviously the whole heroin-chic/androgynous-rocker look. Also digging her husky voice/vibe. Noticed she was opening for La Roux, will have to keep an eye on her.

A few videos, & some pics:

Cammi Granato: Hockey Hall of Fame

Big congrats to Cammi Granato for (finally) being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Captain of the '98 gold-medal winning USA Womens Olympic Hockey team, she was definitely a hero of mine.

Had this Wheaties box (sans autographs) hanging up in my room for years.
